Patricia Locke is a self-taught artist and designer. She began designing fine jewelry in 1971, making the transition to fashion jewelry in 1979. Every Patricia Locke piece is handcrafted by artisans in her factory outside of Chicago, Illinois. The designs are fabricated in antiqued 24K gold or sterling silver plate over bronze and pewter. She employs a wide variety of semi-precious stones, Austrian crystals and pearls. All ear wires are gold-filled or sterling silver; posts are surgical steel or sterling silver.
